Fuel and ignition on the XL sizes
Fuel and ignition are picked as one combined option here, gas first and ignition second. Whichever gas you choose, the same five ignitions are available: Match Lit is manual and least expensive, the two flame-sensing systems shut the gas off automatically if the flame dies, and the Low Voltage Electronic and Plug and Play options light it from a switch, remote or outlet.
One thing specific to these sizes, and it catches people out: the 84, 96 and 108 ship back of truck rather than on a liftgate, so a forklift or a tractor with forks needs to be on site. Tell us before you order if that is a problem and we will work the delivery out with you.

Your fire pit is built for your order — your size, your finish, your fuel type — so it isn’t pulled off a shelf. Production runs about 3 to 4 weeks, then it goes out on a freight truck. Figure four to six weeks from your order to your patio.
Shipping is free — the price you see is the price you pay. No freight bill afterward, no surprise at checkout.
When it is built, the freight carrier calls you to set a delivery window, so someone needs to be home to meet the truck and sign for it. Look the crate over before you sign — freight damage is rare, but it can only be put right if it is noted on the paperwork at the time.
Please read before ordering: the 84″, 96″ and 108″ sizes need a forklift.
These sizes ship back of truck. The driver cannot unload them for you — there is no liftgate on this size, and the crate is too heavy and too long to hand down. You will need a forklift or a tractor with forks at the delivery address on the day. If you do not have access to one, call us on 1-800-914-0074 before you order and we will work out another way. It costs a lot less to sort this out now than to turn a truck away.
Professional installation. As a gas fire feature, this should follow all clearances and local codes for your selected fuel type, and professional installation is recommended. If you don’t have a preferred installer, contact us and we can point you toward qualified professional installation for your setup.
