Awntech Awnings, Sold by an Authorized Dealer

Awntech is a family-run awning manufacturer in Euless, Texas, building since 2003. They were the first to standardize retractable awning sizes and ship them fully assembled, which is the only reason you can buy a 20 ft awning online and have it on the wall by Saturday afternoon. We are an authorized Awntech dealer, we sell at Awntech's own prices, and if you find one lower we will beat it. What you get on top is a person to measure it with you, an installer-matching service, and a 3 percent saving for paying by bank transfer.

What Makes an Awntech Awning Different

Three things, and they are the three that matter on a rental property.

The fabric is 100 percent solution-dyed acrylic, never polyester. The color goes through the fiber rather than sitting on top of it, so it does not chalk and fade the way a budget polyester awning does by its second summer. Awntech calls the line Beauty-Mark, it comes in 39 colors, and the cover is replaceable on its own when you want a new look.

It arrives built. The awning comes in one long box with the motor already installed on your chosen side and the remote already paired. Installation is brackets, lift, bolt and adjust, one to two hours for two people.

It is made in the USA. Frames and fabric are assembled in Texas from domestic and imported materials, parts exist, and the company answers the phone. The frame and fabric carry a 5-year limited warranty, prorated after the first year. The motor and remote carry 1 year.

The Awntech Models We Carry

We stock the three motorized retractable lines. Each comes in eight widths from 8 to 24 ft, with a left or right motor and the full fabric range.

Model Type Fabric colors 12 ft x 10 ft Full range
Awntech Maui Open roll, no hood. Awntech's best seller. 39 $1,745.12 $1,277.83 to $3,817.99
Awntech Destin Aluminum hood over the top and sides of the roll. 39 $1,945.12 $1,477.83 to $4,117.99
Awntech Key West Full cassette. Fabric, arms and front bar close into a box. 22 $2,265.12 $1,797.83 to $4,737.99

Awntech also makes manual crank versions of these three, the budget California retractable, and a long list of fixed fabric and metal awnings for doors and windows. We do not list those yet. If you want one, tell us the model and we will order it at the same dealer pricing.

Which Awntech Model Fits Your Property

The frame, arms, motor and fabric are identical across all three. The difference is how much of the rolled-up fabric is protected when the awning is closed, which is most of the year.

Pick the Maui if the wall is under a deep eave, the climate is dry, or the budget is tight. Pick the Destin if the patio sits under trees, near salt air, or in a climate where it rains on a rolled-up awning for weeks at a time. Pick the Key West if the awning is on the front of the house, or if you only visit the property between guests and want fabric that stays sealed in a box through the off-season. Our retractable awnings page walks through sizing and mounting in more detail.

Buying From Us Versus Buying From Awntech Direct

The price is the same. Awntech's dealer terms set the price, so you will not pay more here than on their site, and if you find a lower price anywhere we will beat it. What changes is who you talk to. Before you order, we measure the wall with you and sort out the motor side and bracket type, because a wrong measurement costs a 25 percent restocking fee plus return freight. After you order, we track the freight and set the delivery appointment with you. If you want it installed, our installer matching service finds a local pro. And if you pay by bank transfer, we take 3 percent off the product price.

Delivery, Lead Time and Returns

Every Awntech awning is made to order and ships fully assembled in about 5 business days. The 8 ft size ships by parcel. Anything 10 ft and wider ships LTL freight, curbside, by appointment, with a signature. Plan on about three weeks from order to curb. Delivery is included to the lower 48 states.

Returns are accepted within 30 days for a defect on arrival. A change of mind or a wrong size gets merchandise credit less a 25 percent restocking fee, and you pay the return freight. Cancellations are free for 24 hours, then 10 percent. Inspect the box with the driver and note any dents or tears on the receipt before you sign.

Questions About Awntech

Is this a genuine Awntech product?

Yes. We are an authorized Awntech dealer and every awning ships direct from Awntech's factory in Euless, Texas, with the full factory warranty. Nothing is refurbished, resold or imported from a third party.

Where are Awntech awnings made?

Euless, Texas, just west of Dallas. Awntech has built there since 2003. The company describes its products as made in the USA with domestic and imported materials.

What is the Awntech warranty?

5 years limited on the frame and fabric, with full replacement of a defective part in year one and prorated coverage after that. 1 year on the motor, remote and electronics. The lateral arms and any wind or storm damage are not covered, and the warranty is for residential use. A rental home counts as residential; a storefront does not.

Can I get fabric samples before I choose a color?

Yes. Awntech provides swatch samples on request. Tell us which colors you are deciding between and we will arrange them.

Can I order a manual crank Awntech awning or a fixed awning?

Yes. We carry the three motorized retractables on the site and can order any other current Awntech model for you at the same pricing. Send us the model name.

How long does an Awntech awning take to arrive?

About 5 business days to build, then freight. Roughly three weeks door to door is a fair average, and we will give you the current number when you call.
