Description

A fire feature can look like an add-on or like it was always part of the design. The Outdoor Plus Sedona 60" is firmly the latter, a low, round, narrow-ledge GFRC concrete fire pit with the clean silhouette of high-end architectural hardscape rather than a bulky bolt-on.

Hand-poured and finished in the USA, the Sedona pairs the cast-stone look of concrete with real weather resistance. At 60 inches across it seats a full circle of chairs rather than a two-chair corner. Choose from 18 concrete finishes, three ignition systems, and either natural gas or liquid propane.

Why the 60" Sedona

Sized for a circle of seating, not a corner

The 60" measures 60" in diameter x 15" high, with a 54" diameter burning area set into the bowl. A round fire pit this wide lets everyone sit an equal distance from the flame, which is what makes a circle of chairs work instead of a row facing one side. If your space is tighter, the 48" Sedona will suit you better and cost less.

165,000 BTU in a 54-inch ring

The burner is matched to the bowl, so the flame fills the opening rather than sitting as a small pool in the middle of a wide ledge. Suggested fire glass fill is 240 lbs if you upgrade from the included lava rock. That is a lot of glass, so price it in as a real line item rather than an afterthought.

The narrow ledge is the point

Look at the two numbers together: 60 inches across, 54 inches of it burning. That leaves roughly three inches of concrete rim. Almost the entire bowl is fire. It reads far lighter than a wide-ledge table of the same footprint, and it keeps everyone close to the warmth.

That is also the honest limitation. Three inches is not a surface you can set a plate on. If you want somewhere to put food and drinks down, the wide-ledge Sedona gives you a proper rim and a smaller fire, and it is the better buy for how most people actually entertain.

GFRC concrete, not ordinary cast concrete

Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete is meaningfully stronger and more weather-resistant than standard cast concrete, so the refined look holds up to real outdoor exposure instead of cracking or degrading after a season or two. Because each unit is hand-poured, subtle variation in color and texture is normal and expected, that is the material, not a flaw.

Choosing Your Options

Natural gas or liquid propane

Natural gas runs off a plumbed line and never needs refilling, which is the better answer if you already have a gas stub or are willing to have one run. Liquid propane runs off a tank, which means no plumbing but a tank to swap and somewhere to hide it. Pick the one that matches your property. The burner is configured for your choice at the factory and cannot be swapped later.

The three ignition systems, in plain English

  • Match Lit, the simplest and least expensive. You turn a key valve and light it yourself. No power needed.
  • Match Lit with Flame Sense, the same, plus a sensor that shuts the gas off if the flame blows out.
  • Electronic (CSA certified), on and off from a remote or a wall switch. Needs a transformer and a power source nearby.

If an inspector or local code is involved, the CSA-certified option is the one with documentation on file. The Sedona 60" is made in these three ignitions only, if you want Flame Sense with Spark or Plug and Play, those are offered on the Del Mar line.

Delivery & Installation

Delivery included. Built to order, ships in 3–4 weeks.

Your fire pit is built for your order, your finish, your ignition, your fuel type, so it isn't pulled off a shelf. Production runs about 3 to 4 weeks, then it goes out on a freight truck. Figure four to six weeks from your order to your patio.

Delivery is included in the price you see. No freight bill afterward, no surprise at checkout. Delivery is to the continental US, to your driveway or a designated spot on the property, with a liftgate where the size allows.

A five-foot concrete bowl is heavy and awkward. Plan the route from the truck to the final position before delivery day and have help lined up. When it's built, the freight carrier calls you to set a delivery window. Someone needs to be home to meet the truck and sign for it. Look the crate over before you sign, freight damage is rare, but it can only be put right if it's noted on the paperwork at the time.

Professional installation. As a gas fire feature, the Sedona should follow all clearances and local codes for your selected fuel type, and professional installation is recommended. If you don't have a preferred installer, contact us and we can point you toward qualified professional installation for your setup.

Built for you, so please double-check your choices. Because each unit is made to your specification, we can't return or exchange it once it goes into production. Take a minute over the finish, the ignition and whether you're on natural gas or propane. Not sure? Call 1-800-914-0074 or email sales@optimaloutdooroasis.com and we'll walk through it with you. We'd much rather answer questions first.

Prefer to pay by bank transfer? Save 3% on this item. Call 1-800-914-0074 or email sales@optimaloutdooroasis.com and we'll send you an invoice with 3% off. The discount applies to the product price.
