Description
The Owner's Insights on the Wood Grain Poly Adirondack Chair
Most poly Adirondack chairs look like poly the second you sit in one: flat, slightly plasticky, a little too perfect. The Wood Grain finish is YardCraft's answer to that. The surface is textured to read as real wood grain from the porch rail, but it is still the same solid, weatherproof poly lumber underneath, so nothing about owning it changes.
It is built from recycled poly lumber and fastened with stainless steel hardware, which is the detail that actually matters outside. A wood Adirondack chair needs stripping and resealing most summers or the joints start to go soft. This one does not. Rinse it off, leave it out through the winter, and it looks the same in May as it did in September.
It holds up to 350 lbs and goes together with 10 bolts and the included hex wrench, usually in under half an hour. Two people make it faster, mostly for holding the back and seat together while the first few bolts go in.
Where I would steer you off it: if you want a chair that stores flat against a wall for the winter, ask us before you order. Some YardCraft poly Adirondack chairs fold and some are fixed-frame, and we want to confirm which build this one ships as before you commit to a color.
