Description

The Owner's Insights on the Farrier Collapsible Fire Pit

This is the smaller sibling to the Forge, and it's the one I recommend for anyone who wants a fire pit they can actually pack up, not just one that happens to fold. It slides together from 4 pieces with no tools, and collapses to under an inch when you're done, flat enough to stand behind a shed door or slide into a trunk. It's real 7-gauge steel, not a thin camping-store stamping, with 12 air intake slots a side for cleaner burning. One honest note: this is a basic open fire pit, not a smokeless design like the Forge line; the optional Secondary Combustion attachments help, but they're sold separately. It comes in Natural, Black, or Stainless, so pick based on how it'll look on your patio.

Why You'll Love the Farrier Collapsible Fire Pit

  • Collapses to under 1 inch. Tool-free, 4-piece slide-together assembly that breaks down just as fast.
  • Real 7-gauge steel. 3/16" thick A1011 CS-B steel, not a thin stamped import.
  • 12 air intake slots per side. Feeds the fire for a cleaner burn than a solid-wall pit.
  • Three finishes. Natural, Black, or Stainless to match your outdoor space.
  • Comes with a 4-pack of Fatwood firestarters so your first fire is ready to go.
  • Made in the USA.

Why You Should Consider Yard Craft

Yard Craft builds its Urban Fire line in the US from real gauge steel rather than thin imported sheet metal, which is why a collapsible design like this one holds its shape through repeated setup and breakdown. That same US manufacturing is behind the fast 1 to 2 week lead time and free delivery you get on the rest of the Yard Craft line.

FAQ's

CAN YOU PUT A FIRE PIT ON A WOOD DECK OR GRASS?

Because of the heat generated underneath the firepit and the possibility of fallen embers, it is not safe to place a fire pit directly on a wood deck. Grass is not ideal for a fire pit, as it is likely to burn and kill your grass. It’s best to set a portable fire pit atop a fire-resistant surface such as a fireproof mat, pavers, or bricks.

HOW DO I MAINTAIN MY FIRE PIT? WILL THE PAINT LAST?

The paint on the interior of your fire pit may burn off within your first few burns. The paint on the exterior of your fire pit may bubble or chip with time as it wears against the elements. You can maintain your fire pit by lightly sanding any spots showing rust or missing paint. You can then use any color high-temp spray paint to touch up your fire pit to keep it looking great!
