Description

The Owner's Insights on the Krabi Natural Rope Hanging Chair

I like this one for a spot most hosts write off as too small to matter. The Krabi is a single hanging chair woven from natural Rami rope over an aluminum frame, and it photographs warmer and more distinctive than the synthetic wicker hanging chairs showing up on nearly every other listing right now. It seats one, it arrives fully assembled, and it comes with two Sunbrella cushions so it's ready to use the day it lands. The honest caveat: because the weave is a natural fiber rather than an all-weather synthetic, it belongs in a covered or partially sheltered spot, not full, direct sun and rain year-round. Place it right and it holds up well. Place it wrong and you'll be replacing the rope sooner than you'd like.

Why You'll Love the Krabi Natural Rope Hanging Chair

  • A material no one else is using. Natural Rami rope over an aluminum frame gives it a textured, boutique look that stands apart from standard synthetic-wicker hanging chairs.
  • It fits where bigger pieces can't. At 46 in wide and 30.5 in deep, it works in a shaded balcony, a narrow patio edge, or a reading nook on a smaller property.
  • Arrives ready to use. No assembly and no separate cushion order. Both included cushions are on it the day it arrives.
  • Sunbrella cushions built for repeat use. High-grade polyurethane foam with a venting mesh system that dries faster after rain, and covers that resist fading and come off easily for cleaning.
  • Low-maintenance by design. The aluminum frame needs only routine cleaning, and the rope weave holds up well with basic care.
  • Designed by Noel Royo. It reads as a considered design choice, not a space-filler.

Why You Should Consider Skyline Design

Skyline Design builds this chair, and furniture like it, specifically for real outdoor use rather than as a showroom piece: a powder-coated aluminum frame, genuine Sunbrella fabric, and construction backed by a written residential warranty. They've been doing this long enough that the small details, like the venting mesh under the cushions, are the kind of thing you only get from a manufacturer that has actually heard the complaints and fixed them.

  • Optional Protective Cover. A tailored cover is available for off-season or storm protection. Pricing wasn't shown in the source material we pulled, so confirm the cost with us before ordering.
