Description

The Owner's Insights on the Stellar Artisan Fire Bowl

Most fire features are functional first and decorative second, but the Stellar inverts that entirely. Designed and hand-crafted by Ohio Flame founder and artisan Matt Skillman, it draws its form from the brilliance of celestial objects that illuminate the night sky. It's crafted from thick carbon American steel sourced from local mills, with the same no-maintenance durability as the rest of the Ohio Flame lineup, just wrapped in a design meant to be looked at as much as gathered around. One honest note: this is a made-to-order artisan piece, so budget a standard two-week lead time before it ships.

Why You'll Love the Stellar Artisan Fire Bowl

  • Celestial-inspired design. Drawn directly from the brilliance of celestial objects, translated into a radiant vessel of hand-forged steel.
  • Individually hand-crafted. Designed and made by Matt Skillman, Ohio Flame's founder, not a mass-produced fire pit off an assembly line.
  • Patina Finish that deepens naturally. Adds character over time rather than wearing out.
  • Built-in Rain Drain system. Includes a 4" round blocking plate and centering tee if you'd rather close it off.
  • Lifetime warranty. The same guarantee Ohio Flame backs its production fire pits with.
  • Three sizes, 30" to 41". Steel thickness increases with each size, adding mass and presence as the bowl scales up.

Why You Should Consider Ohio Flame

Ohio Flame's Artisan Collection is designed and hand-forged individually by founder Matt Skillman, not produced on a standard assembly line, so each Stellar carries the character of an individually made object. That same combination of artisan craftsmanship and lifetime-warrantied engineering runs across the rest of the Artisan Collection.

Shipping and Installation

The Stellar is hand-crafted to order, so budget a standard lead time of about 2 weeks from the time your order is placed before it's ready to ship. Once complete, we ship it free of charge within the continental USA; given the weight of the larger 37" and 41" sizes, those ship via freight, so inspect the fire bowl closely as soon as it arrives before signing off on delivery. No assembly is required, it's ready to place the moment it's uncrated. If you plan to use the blocking plate to close off the Rain Drain, have it on hand at delivery so it's ready to install right away.

Who This Is For (and Who It's Not)

This fire bowl is perfect if you:

✔ Want a genuine handcrafted art piece as your property's signature fire feature

This may not be right if you:
