What Makes Square Different

Rectangular sightlines. You can plant benches on two sides, chairs on two sides, and everybody can see everybody. No "short end" where somebody sits at the edge. The shape fits tight spaces better. The heat spreads the same way round heat spreads — you just get more seat space per degree.

What You Get

The frame: Aluminum. Stays straight. Doesn't warp or corrode the way steel does in salt air or humid climates. Ten-year lifespan just sitting there untouched.

The burner: Stainless steel, already installed. Propane or natural gas. Your choice on fuel type — the burner takes both. Controls are manual and mechanical, no electronics to fail.

Actual customization: This isn't "pre-made shapes." You're finishing it the way you want it. That costs less than ordering a custom stone build, and you get the result you picked.

Ready to light: Once the finish is set, you run gas to it. No plumbing, no digging. Curbside delivery, level ground, gas connection, done.

The Hard Part

Freight is a separate cost. Delivery is not free and it is not included in the price. Checkout does not collect it only because we do not know your address until you order, and a crate this size gets priced address by address. We quote the real freight for where you live, send it as its own invoice, and it is paid before your fire pit leaves the factory.

Level ground is non-negotiable. Concrete, pavers, or a proper foundation. Sloped ground or soft soil means site prep on your end. That's money and work. Get it wrong and your fire pit sits crooked, burner doesn't work right, and you have a safety problem.

Finishing it is on you. Tile, stucco, stone — your contractor or your own hands. That's what "ready to finish" means. The fire pit part is ready. The finishing part is your job.

Gas connection should be professional. If you're not confident with natural gas or propane, hire somebody. Getting it wrong is a safety and performance problem.

Square vs. Round: Which One?

Round = open on all sides, classic campfire vibe, great for large open yards

Square = sides that work with patio geometry, modern look, fits tight spaces better, bench seating easier

Pick square if you have a defined patio space, a corner to anchor, or want multiple people sitting shoulder-to-shoulder. Pick round if you want the gathering-around-the-fire feeling on open land.

These are built to order. Our orders have averaged 2 to 3 months from order to shipped. That's an average, not a promise — the factory's backlog changes, and yours could be faster or slower. Call or text and we'll give you today's real number instead of the promise that's easier to make.

Long enough to get your site prepped, buy your finish materials, and plan where this actually goes.

Buyer Questions We Hear

Can I choose any finish I want? — Yes. Within reason. Stucco, tile, stone, brick, concrete, wood cladding — all work. Bring photos of what you're imagining and we can talk about whether it fits the burner setup and ventilation.

How much will finishing cost? — Depends on what you pick. Stucco is cheapest (under $500 if you do it). Tile or stone adds up (materials + labor). Budget $500–$2,000 for finish, depending on the look you want. That's in addition to the fire pit.

How long does assembly take? — Two people, a half-day to get the frame level and square. Finishing takes whatever contractor you hire, or weeks if you're doing stucco yourself. Burner hookup is a pro job — budget a few hours and maybe $200–$400 for that.

What size ground space do I need? — The 36" itself needs clear space around it. Figure 15 feet in the direction people sit, 12 feet perpendicular. Closer than that and people are too close to the heat.

Does this include a grill? — No. This is a fire pit. If you want to grill, add a grill frame or a burner with a grate. Separate order.

Can I winterize it or move it? — Winterization is simple (drain any standing water, cover it). Moving it is heavy — don't plan to relocate seasonally. It's meant as a permanent fixture once finished and leveled.

Do I need a building permit? — Check your local ordinances. Some jurisdictions require permits for gas appliances. We can't advise on that — call your county before ordering if you're unsure.
