If you're running a short-term rental, you already know that outdoor spaces sell bookings. A bare patio is a missed opportunity. A live-fire steel grill that doubles as a glowing fire bowl? That's a listing photo, a 5-star review, and a premium night rate waiting to happen.
The Arteflame Classic 40" is not a standard backyard BBQ. It's a 355-pound, USA-designed flat top grill built from 1/2" solid carbon steel — no burners, no igniters, no mechanical components to fail. Just steel, fire, and food.
What separates this grill from everything else in its class is the cooktop design. A single circular surface creates natural temperature zones from center to edge, so you can sear a steak and finish vegetables at the same time — on the same cooktop, over the same fire.
For STR hosts managing guest experience at a premium property, this is the kind of amenity that doesn't just impress — it becomes part of what guests remember and write about.
The Arteflame 40" is built for hosts and homeowners who want a centerpiece, not just a cooking appliance. Designed in the USA and manufactured entirely from steel, it's as much an outdoor installation as it is a grill.
The fire bowl is seamlessly spun from steel — no welds, no seams, no weak points. The 1/2" laser-cut carbon steel cooktop sits above it, giving you a cooking surface that retains heat evenly and builds a natural seasoning layer over time.
There are no burners, no igniters, and no gas lines. With zero mechanical components, there's nothing to break, service, or replace. For a hospitality property, that means lower maintenance overhead and a grill that holds up to repeated use across multiple guest stays.
At 355 lbs, this unit isn't going anywhere. The tall round base with open storage and a stainless steel shelf gives it a finished, purposeful look — stable on any patio, courtyard, or reinforced deck surface.
The circular cooktop isn't just a flat surface — it's a cooking system. The center runs hottest, ideal for searing steaks and getting a hard crust. As you move outward, temperatures drop steadily, giving you medium heat for burgers and seafood, and a low, forgiving edge zone for vegetables, bread, and anything that needs slow finishing.
That gradient means you can cook an entire meal simultaneously without rotating dishes between zones or managing separate heat sources. For hosting large groups — dinner parties, guest gatherings, event nights — this is a meaningful operational advantage.
An optional center grill grate drops in when guests or owners want direct flame grilling rather than flat-top cooking. Two cooking styles, one unit.
The Arteflame doesn't clock out when the cooking is done. Remove the cooktop and the steel fire bowl becomes a standalone outdoor fire feature — warm, glowing, and exactly the kind of ambiance that drives lingering and late-night reviews.
The cooktop lifts off using the included removal tool, converting the grill into a sleek open fire bowl in under a minute. No separate fire pit required. No additional outdoor furniture to source, store, or maintain.
For STR hosts, this dual function is a genuine space and budget win. One piece of equipment handles cooking for dinner and ambiance for the rest of the evening — without taking up twice the patio real estate.
Guests who arrive expecting a basic grill and find a live-fire setup with an evening fire bowl have a story to tell. That story shows up in your reviews.
Short-term rental guests respond to detail — and nothing signals premium outdoor living more clearly than a heavy-gauge steel grill that looks like it belongs on a resort property. The Arteflame's profile is architectural. It stands out in listing photography and communicates quality before a guest ever sets foot on the property.
The internal water drainage system keeps the unit functional and low-maintenance through seasonal weather. Combined with the all-steel construction and no-mechanical-parts design, this is a grill built to perform year after year without the kind of upkeep that eats into your margins.
For hosts managing luxury homes, event-capable properties, or any STR where the outdoor space is a booking driver, the Arteflame directly supports nightly rate premiums and Superhost-worthy guest experiences.
This grill is perfect if you:
✔ Own a luxury home, vacation rental, or event-capable STR property
✔ Host large gatherings and want to cook for a crowd efficiently
✔ Want an outdoor feature that photographs well and elevates your listing
✔ Care about long-term durability with minimal mechanical maintenance
This may not be right if you:
✖ Need a portable or lightweight grill option
✖ Prefer propane or gas-only cooking
✖ Are shopping primarily on price rather than long-term value
Picture guests gathered around a glowing fire bowl as evening sets in — steaks already seared to order across the flat top, vegetables caramelized at the edge, the fire still burning while everyone settles in for the night. That's not a backyard BBQ experience. That's a memory guests write reviews about.
This grill becomes:
An outdoor space with an Arteflame doesn't need much else to feel complete. It does the work of a grill, a fire pit, and a conversation piece — all in one 355-pound statement piece.
Center grill grate (for direct flame grilling)
Everything required for wood or charcoal live-fire cooking is included. The optional center grill grate is available separately.
This is a 355-pound steel grill — delivery and placement require advance planning. The shipment is palletized and may exceed 500 lbs packaged, so confirm your delivery access before ordering.
Before the grill arrives, ensure you have a level, stable surface ready — concrete, pavers, or reinforced decking all work. Allow adequate clearance around the unit for safe live-fire cooking, and position it away from any combustible materials or structures.
Assembly is required and detailed instructions are included. Due to the weight, two or more people are strongly recommended for final placement. If you're installing at a hospitality or short-term rental property, check local fire regulations and any HOA or municipal guidelines that apply to open-flame cooking equipment.
