Is This Outdoor Ping Pong Table Regulation Size?

No. Ledge calls it a home-friendly size, and at 96 by 48 inches it's smaller than a 108 by 60 inch tournament table. For casual games with guests and family, it plays well and fits more patios. If you play competitively, a regulation table is the better fit.

Using the Pool Bar Stools In and Out of the Water

On the deck, just set the stools down and twist the feet to level them. No water is needed. In the pool, toss or place each stool in the water. It fills and sinks to the floor in about 2 minutes, and then you can move it where you want. Ledge designs them for 24 to 40 inch water depths.

To take one out, carry it to the steps and tip it up slowly so the water drains as you climb. On sloped or uneven pool floors, expect to spend a little time with the leveling feet.

A Note on the Barstool Height

Ledge names these Signature Barstools Counter Height, but the seat sits 18 inches high. That's a normal dining height for a 30 inch table like this one. If you're shopping for counter height outdoor bar stools for a 36 inch counter, these will sit too low.

Is This a Good Outdoor Table Tennis Table for a Rental?

For a vacation rental or pool house, one set covers games, meals and pool seating. Solid HDPE doesn't need covering or bringing inside, and it wipes clean after a messy dinner. The paddles and balls have their own trays, so they don't get lost. Both pieces are also rated for commercial use.

Assembly and Delivery

The table comes flat-packed with a screwdriver and all the hardware. Ledge suggests building it on a flat, level surface and keeping a rubber mallet and a little soapy water handy for tight joints. Plan for two people, and check the table top for scratches when it arrives. The barstools arrive ready to use.

Caring for Your Set

Rinse the table with a garden hose or wipe it with a soft cloth. For a deeper clean, use mild soap and water with a soft-bristle brush. If you power wash, start on low PSI at least 3 feet away and test the underside first. Clean the stools often to prevent calcium buildup; a calcium, lime and rust remover takes off white residue. Take the stools out of the pool when you shock it and before a freeze.
