That's fine at home, but guests rarely bother, and a roof left open during a storm soaks the furniture. The Noble's motor, remote and app make adjusting the roof effortless, and the rain sensor closes it even when nobody is there. For a rental, that's the difference between an amenity guests use and one they ignore.

Is 10x12 the Right Size Aluminum Pergola for Your Patio?

"10x12" is the size class. The actual frame measures 11.48 by 9.84 feet outside and 10.44 by 8.87 feet inside, with 7.84 feet of headroom. That comfortably covers a 6-person dining set or a sectional with a coffee table. Measure your patio with a little clearance around the posts, and check for overhead lines or eaves before you order.

Power, App Control and the Rain Sensor

The motor and lights run on 110V/60Hz power, so you'll need an outdoor power source near one of the posts. ALEKO doesn't specify whether it plugs in or needs hardwiring, so ask us before you order if you're planning around a specific outlet. The louvers work from the included remote or the app, and the rain sensor closes them automatically in wet weather.

Is This Freestanding Pergola a Good Fit for a Rental?

For short-term rentals, a covered outdoor space adds usable living area guests notice in photos and reviews.
